SERVICE.
1. About these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Powerbound, a community combat power archive (“Service”). The Service is operated by the Powerbound Archive operator (“we,” “us,” or “our”). Contact: info@insyc.digital.
By connecting your Discord account, submitting a record, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be permitted to use Discord and meet the minimum age requirements that apply to you.
2. How the Service works
Powerbound lets you connect a Discord account, submit an in-game name, combat power, and screenshot, and verify the submission with a short code sent to your Discord direct messages. A successful code confirms access to the Discord account. The Service also checks that an image file is attached and uses a supported format; it does not automatically inspect or authenticate the game content shown in that image. “Verified” means the Discord account challenge was passed and a screenshot was attached, not that the game result was independently certified.
Leaderboard entries show the selected guild, in-game name, combat power, Discord display name, and submission date to signed-in members who have submitted a record of their own. The screenshot is stored privately, is not displayed on the leaderboard, and can be viewed only by the authorized Service operator for proof review. The operator can export record details, including the associated Discord account ID, to CSV. The Service is not operated by, sponsored by, or endorsed by Discord or the makers of any game represented by a submission.
3. Your submissions and responsibilities
You are responsible for the information and images you submit. You agree to:
- submit only information you are authorized to share and screenshots you have the right to provide;
- use an in-game name and combat power that fairly represent your own record;
- not impersonate another player, falsify evidence, exploit the verification system, interfere with the Service, or use it for unlawful, abusive, or infringing activity; and
- keep your Discord account secure and never share a verification code with another person.
You retain your rights to your submissions. You give us a limited, non-exclusive permission to receive, store, process, and display the information you submit as needed to operate, secure, and maintain the Service. This permission ends when the relevant submission is deleted, except for copies that remain temporarily in backups or logs, or information we must retain under law.
4. Moderation and removal
We may reject, hide, or remove a record; limit access to the Service; or suspend a Discord account from submitting records if we reasonably believe a submission is false, abusive, unlawful, violates these Terms, or creates risk for users or the Service. You can update a record by making a new verified submission. We may also change or discontinue any part of the Service. Contact us to report a record or request deletion.
5. Third-party services
The Service relies on Discord for authentication and delivery of verification messages, and on hosting and infrastructure providers. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. Your use of Discord remains subject to Discord’s Terms of Service and Discord’s Privacy Policy. These Terms do not replace or modify Discord’s terms or developer policies.
6. Availability and disclaimers
The Service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that leaderboard information will be accurate or complete. We do not guarantee a particular ranking, result, or continued availability of submitted records.
7. Limits on liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or service access arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the Service or applicable requirements change. We will post the current version here and update the effective date above. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and contact us to request deletion of your record.
